
Dr. Andrea Parker holds a PhD in Human-Centered Computing from Georgia Tech and a BS in Computer Science from Northeastern University. With over 15 years of research and academic experience, Dr. Parker directs the Wellness Technology Lab at Georgia Tech, where she investigates how technology and digital systems can be leveraged to reduce health inequities, especially in mental health, maternal health, and wellness.
Her specialties include digital health equity, human-computer interaction, telehealth design, and community-engaged technology solutions. She’s widely published and recognized with multiple awards. Her research has been funded through awards from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the Aetna Foundation, Google, and Johnson & Johnson. In her advisory role at Elevate, Dr. Parker supports integrating telehealth and digital tools into care delivery and advises on technology strategies that improve access, user-experience, and outcomes.
